Sri Sanna Fakeerappa is a first time Member of Parliament from Raichur Lok Sabha. He won the seat by defeating the scion of Shorapur dore(chieftain)’s family Raja Venkatappa Naik by over 31,000 votes and  whose grandfather had won the seat in the sixties contesting on the less known Swatantra Party. He is also the first cousin of Sri Sriramulu, the Hon’ble Minister for Health, Government of Karnataka who has been instrumental in getting Sri Fakeerappa elected. He belongs to the Bedaar community.

His vision is to put Raichur in the party of development by carrying out various pro-people activities and projects. Raichur being an economically backward district of Karnataka, he has committed to transform this district to the best of his ability. He is keen on providing the basic civic amenities to the people to start with and then later work on other priority needs.

D. B. ChandreGowda was born in Daradahalli, Mudigere taluk, Chikkamagalur district, Karnataka.

He was elected as Vice President of Renukacharya College Students Association in Bangalore. Then he moved on to the R.L Law College, and soon became the General Secretary of the R.L. Law College. Key lessons in leadership and values he learnt from these experiences have stayed with him ever since.

In 1973 he was elected to represent Chickmagalur constituency in the Parliament. He made every effort to become the true voice of his constituency in the parliament.

In 1976 he was re-elected to the parliament from Chickmagalur. Between 1978 and 1986 he became involved in state politics.

After being elected to the Karnataka Legislative Council in 1978 he served as a Cabinet minister and subsequently went on to become the Leader of the Opposition. In 1983 he was elected M.L.A from the Thirtathalli Constituency and became the Speaker in the assembly.

In 1986 he became a Member of the Parliament in Rajya Sabha and. In 1989 he was re-elected as the Member of the Legislative Assembly (M.L.A) and became the Leader of the Opposition. In 1999 he was again elected as M.L.A from Shringeri.  He served as the Minister of Law and Parliamentary Affairs, until 2004. In 1983 he played a key role in organizing a mammoth farmers’ rally that succeeded in obtaining a series of sweeping reform for the families of our farmers and the poor in Karnataka.

He is famous for an incident in which he vacated his MP seat of Chickmagalur and allowed Smt Indira Gandhi to contest and win the election from here.

Janardhana Swamy is a pure rural talent from Chitradurga district Kallihatti village. He has grown up in rural environment; he has done his primary and secondary schooling from Davangere and Chitradurga Government Schools. He has done his Graduation from U.B.D.T. Engineering College, Davanagere. And he has done his Post Graduation in “Electrical Communication” from well known Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.
He is the only son of his father Venkatappa and mother Chinnadevi, and he is basically from farmer’s family. His father Venkatappa is a retired teacher from a Kannada school, and he had dedicated his whole life for poor students education.
Silicon Valley of California State in America is the world’s biggest Technical Centre, He had stayed there for about 10 years and as a Lead Engineer of Sun Microsystems, a famous American company, he’s led a huge team there, he was the youngest person among all remaining team members. He has done many new researches on Chip Design technology which is a emerging and happening technical field, and for these researches he has obtained patents from American government. And still many of his inventions are awaiting for patents from American Government.
He is also the Convener of BJP Karnataka Information Technology Cell. Prior to joining politics as a full time party worker, he gained more than 15 years of experience working for some world class companies like Cisco, Sun Microsystems, Dell, Sasken and Cadence.
Some of his qualities include high energy leadership with passion and motivation for excellence and quality. He is an Independent thinker and inventor. P.C. Mohan is a business by profession. He was drafted into themy family business at an early age of 19 years. Till date he has remained a successful businessman. He started his my political career in 1993 through BJP and since then he has held various positions in the organization. Worked as BJP State Treasurer during the year 2004 to 2007. Represented Chickpet Assembly constituency for two consecutive terms in 1999 – 2004 and 2004 – 2008. Contested Gandhinagar Assembly constituency elections in 1998.
He has performed several social service activities, which includes , every year, free distribution of note books to thousands of economically backward students, distribution of bicycles and iron-boxes to the unemployed for their self-employment. Free eye testing and free distribution of spectacles to poor women. Free distribution of uniforms to Auto drivers. Sri. Previously as an MLA of Chickpet constituency which belongs to the old Bangalore area, the infrastructure with regards to roads, under ground drainage, storm water drain, water supply were major issues. They had crumbled under the pressure of rapid growth in the past decades.
He undertook several developmental work in this area to ensure that all the civic issues are addressed and resolved. Though he lost the Gandhinagar Assembly seat during 2008 Assembly Elections, he bounced back and won the Bangalore Central Lok Sabha seat during General Elections 2009 with a thumping majority.

Smt J.Shantha, is a first time Member of Parliament from the prestigious Bellary Lok Sabha constituency. She defeated veteran and senior leader of Congress party Sri N.Y.Hanumanthappa with a narrow margin of over 2,000 votes. She is also the sister of Sri Sriramulu, the Hon’ble Minister for Health, Government of Karnataka.

Being new to politics, she now has a focused vision to work for the people of Bellary district and provide every house hold the basic needs that are required for a standard of living. She is committed to work for the upliftment of the women folk in the district.
She is married to Sri B.Nagaraju and they have a daughter.

Her goal is to try to expedite long pending railway projects in the. Union Government sponsored projects such as doubling of rail track between Hospet and Bellary, and gauge conversion between Kottur and Harihar had been languishing for years and she is committed to get the project cleared that will benefit the people of Bellary district

He other focus areas would be the upgradation of Natioanl Highways 13 and 63 passing through Bellary district, and expansion of Vijayanagar Thermal Power Plant. She would also make sincere efforts to get other central government schemes for the benefit of the constituency people.

Sri B.Y.Raghavendra is the first time Member of Parliament from the prestigious Shimoga Lok Sabha constituency. He defeated S.Bangarappa, former Chief Minister of Karnataka, and senior leader of Congress party by more than 50,000 votes during the General Elections 2009. He is also the son of Sri B.S.Yeddyurappa, the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Karnataka.
He was actively involved in various developmental activities in Shimoga district before joining politics for full time. He assisted his father in various elections and worked for the people of the district as a grass root level leader.
Raghavendra is married to Thejaswini and they have had two sons; Subhash and Bhagath. He Raghavendra completed his education with a degree in Bachelor of Business Management. Parvatagouda Gaddigoudar was born on June 1, 1951 at a small hamlet Heballi in Bagalkot District to Balavva and Chandanagouda Gaddigoudar. He graduated in the faculty of Arts from Basveshwar Arts College at Bagalkot affiliated to the Karnatak University. Later he completed his bachelors degree in Law from the prestigious Raja Lakhamagouda College of Belgaum. He has been associated with Parliamentary politics for several years and has served in various capacities.

He has been a member of the Karnataka Legislative Council from 1988 – 1994. He has been the chairman of the District Re-organization Committee of the Karnataka State in 1986 – 87.  He was elected to the 14th Lok Sabha and has been a member of the Committee on External Affairs and a member of the Standing Committee on External Affairs from Aug 2007.

A strong social worker he keeps himself abreast of the latest developments and problems in his areas by constant reading and communication with his constituency. He likes to read books and do social activities in his spare time.

He started his public life in the early 1980s and his major boost came when he was appointed by the then chief minister of Karnataka, Ramakrishna Hegde in 1987 as chairman of the committee to study the reorganization of districts. The report was implemented by J.H. Patel in 1997-98. He is considered instrumental in the creation of Bagalkot district, which was created after separating it from Bijapur.

Ananth Kumar Hegde is a famous agriculturist, businessman and a loyal social worker from the kanara district of south Karnataka. It was only in 1996 that he turned into an active politician and has been elected every time from the kanara district as the Member of Parliament since then.

He was elected for 11th Lok Sabha in 1996. He was re-elected second time for 12th Lok Sabha in 1998 and work as whip B.J.P. Parliamentary party. He was re-elected third time for 14th Lok Sabha in 2004. This is his fourth term for 15th Lok Sabha.

In 1996-97 he was a member of the consultative committee of France coming under ministry of external affairs. Suresh Angadi did his graduation from S.S. S. Samiti College of Commerce, Belgaum and R.L. Law College, Belgaum. He is a prominent businessman and political & social worker, involved in the upliftment of the needy and downtrodden.

Shri Ananth Kumar was born in a middle class Brahmin family on 22/7/59. He is the son of Shri Narayan Shastri and Smt Girija N. Shastry. He has been one of the great social workers cum politician Bangalore and of course Karnataka ever had.

He is Educated at K.S. Arts College and J.S.S. Law College, Karnataka University, Hubli (Karnataka). He entered active politics only after 1985. Till then he had acquired various positions in the student organization ABVP. Once he was national secretary of ABVP.

He started his political career as secretary of Karnataka BJP in 1987. In 1995 he was appointed as the National Secretary. For the first time he was elected to Lok Sabha in 1996 from Bangalore South constituency. He was a member of various committees coming under ministry of railways and industry. He went on to become a Union Minister during NDA regime. He hasn’t lost even a single election since 1996. Due to his great works Karnataka people just love him.

He is also Chief Patron of Adamya Chetana, Smt. Girija Shastry Memorial Trust, which has successfully undertaken the projects: (i) Annapoorna to provide nutritious mid-day meal to 30,000 children of 150 schools; (ii) Aata-Paatha – a mobile resource facility using innovative and formal methods to make learning fun for both the teacher and taught; (iii) Adoption of Government schools to provide drinking water facility, building renovation, uniforms and health check-ups etc.

His hobbies include Sight seeing, star gazing, playing with children. He has widely travelled. He has been a Member, Indian Parliamentary Delegation to UNESCO Conference on Communication, Information, Education and Culture held at Paris; visited U.S.A. (i) as part of International Exchange Programme; and (ii) Special Emissary of the Government of India to hoist the Tri-colour in Washington for the celebration of 51st Year of Indian Independence, August, 1998
